Job description
The role of Medical Lead Veterinarian involves leading and mentoring a team of associate veterinarians, setting standards for clinical excellence , and fostering a culture of collaboration and growth.
Responsibilities
guiding medical practices and ensuring high-quality patient care
managing hospital performance, compliance, and financial goals
leading team meetings, externship programs, and recruitment efforts
serving as a community ambassador
Qualifications
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree
valid state license
at least 2 years of clinical experience
strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
willingness to learn hospital management and proficiency in computer skills
