Criticalist – Portland Veterinary Emergency and Specialty Care
If you are a compassionate and skilled veterinarian seeking a challenging yet rewarding career opportunity, we are looking for a residency-trained or board-certified Veterinary Criticalist to join our dynamic team in Portland, Maine.
Responsibilities
Employ your expertise in emergency and critical care to provide top‑notch medical care to patients in their most vulnerable moments, utilizing cutting‑edge technologies and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best outcomes.
Hospital & Equipment
Our hospital is equipped with color‑flow ultrasounds, endoscopy, digital radiography, a full on‑site laboratory, cold laser, PulseVet shockwave, PRP & stem cell therapy, CT scanner, MRI, and a full array of critical care services and monitoring modalities, including high‑flow O₂ and telemetry.
Future Expansion
Help us transition into our new cutting‑edge 42,000 sq ft hospital set to open in late 2026, where you will work with an incredibly talented team and best‑in‑class technology to shape the future of veterinary medicine.
