For more than 30 years, AVS Equine Medical & Surgical Hospital has been a trusted leader in equine veterinary medicine throughout North Florida, South Georgia, and the surrounding region. Located in beautiful Tallahassee, Florida, our hospital is dedicated to providing exceptional patient care while creating a positive, collaborative environment for our clients, patients, and team.
We are seeking an Equine Veterinarian who is passionate about advanced equine medicine, values teamwork, and is committed to delivering the highest standard of care.

26,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art equine medical and surgical hospital
Located on 35+ acres of beautiful rolling pasture
Multiple veterinarians providing comprehensive medical and surgical services
The only full-service equine hospital within 150 miles of Tallahassee
Referral clientele throughout North Florida, South Georgia, Alabama, North Carolina, and South Carolina
Advanced diagnostic equipment and continually evolving medical capabilities
Extensive reproductive services, including semen collection and shipment throughout the U.S. and Canada

Our Ideal Candidate May Have Experience With
Routine equine surgical procedures
Working up and managing lameness cases
Sound clinical judgment and a commitment to high-quality patient care
Strong communication and client relationship skills
Working collaboratively within a veterinary team
A genuine passion for equine medicine and continued professional growth
We also welcome internship-trained and early-career veterinarians. If you have a strong foundation in equine medicine, a willingness to learn, and a passion for providing excellent patient care, we would love to hear from you.
