Job Overview
Are you a vet student looking for some real‑world experience? We’ve got it for you! Whether you’re in your 1st or 4th year, we would love to have you for a few days or 2 weeks to show you what independent veterinary practice can be like. Our practice typically sees 40-60 doctor appointments daily, plus surgeries, ensuring you’ll be exposed to a variety of cases.
What We Offer
Hands‑on learning: guidance through physical exams, diagnosing, interpreting labs, surgery, record keeping, and client communications.
Mentorship: work with each of our vets to learn different approaches and get your questions answered.
Diverse experiences: small animals, reptiles, small mammals, and birds.
Housing: available.
Stipend: we’ll pay you for your work.
Location: just south of Dallas, an easy drive into the Metroplex.
Qualifications
Must be enrolled in a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine program.
