Abby Pet Hospital is seeking an Associate Veterinarian with an interest inUrgent Care and Emergency Medicine to join our growing team in Fresno, CA. Whether you’re a GP veterinarian looking to expand your skillset, a UC doctor seeking a collaborative environment, or an ER veterinarian looking for a sustainable schedule, this is an opportunity to create a role that fits your professional goals.

For more than 65 years, Abby Pet Hospital has been a trusted part of the Fresno community. Today, our recently renovated, 8,000-square-foot hospital is home to a collaborative team of 10 veterinarians providingGeneral Practice, Urgent Care, and Emergency services under one roof.

Our hybrid GP/UC/ER model provides the opportunity to see a wide variety of cases—from wellness and preventative care to same-day urgent visits and emergency presentations—while having the support, resources, and experienced team needed to practice confidently.

In-house laboratory and reference lab access

Two surgery suites

Electronic medical records (Avimark)

Who We're Looking For

A veterinarian interested inGeneral Practice, Urgent Care, Emergency Medicine, or a combination of all three

A GP doctor looking to expand into urgent care/emergency cases or an experienced UC/ER doctor seeking a supportive, sustainable environment

A doctor who enjoys variety, problem-solving, and a diverse medical caseload

Someone looking for a flexible schedule, with full-time (3+ days/week) or part-time opportunities available

DVM or equivalent degree from an AVMA-accredited veterinary school

ECFVG or PAVE certification, if applicable
