Veterinarian Opportunity at PetVet Animal Hospital – Honolulu, HI
Are you an experienced veterinarian interested in practicing meaningful, well-rounded medicine in a supportive, multi-doctor hospital — all while enjoying the island lifestyle in beautiful HawaiÊ»i? PetVet Animal Hospital in Honolulu is looking for a confident and compassionate DVM to join our growing Ê»Ohana.

PetVet Animal Hospital is a ten-doctor, full-service small animal hospital known for our collaborative culture, strong medical standards, and multigenerational relationships with our community — including caring for the pets of local Military families.

This role is best suited for veterinarians with prior urgent care, emergency, and emergency surgery experience who enjoy clinical variety and being part of a truly team-focused environment. (Also open to GP Veterinarians looking to grow further within Vetmed !)
Our hospital features modern technology, including:
MLS Cold Laser Therapy.
Bi-weekly visiting radiologist.
Monthly visiting cardiologist.
SmartFlow Digital Workflow.
eVet cloud-based PIMS (paperless).
Cubex Controlled Drug Management.
Digital Radiography.
Large surgical suite with 2 surgical tables.
You’ll also be supported by a skilled technical team, including 24-hour technician coverage for triage and client communication.
What We’re Looking For
We are seeking an experienced veterinarian who:
Is proficient in Urgent Care, Emergency , and Emergency Surgery
Enjoys a diverse and engaging caseload.
Communicates clearly and compassionately with clients.
Works well in a collaborative, multi-doctor setting.
Values autonomy with strong medical judgment.
This particular role is designed for veterinarians with urgent care, emergency, and emergency surgery experience (also open to GP Veterinarians looking to grow further within Vetmed ). While it may not be the right fit for new graduates, we encourage motivated recent graduates to apply, as there may be other opportunities across our Hawaiʻi locations that align with your experience and growth goals.
