Veterinarian

J Lansing Michigan USD180K/ Year

A well-established multi-doctor small animal hospital in Portland, Michigan is seeking a Veterinarian to join its supportive and collaborative clinical team. This is an excellent opportunity for a vet looking to work within a stable, community-focused practice with strong support, a varied caseload, and a team-oriented environment.

The hospital operates as a multi-DVM practice with a strong emphasis on collaboration, continuity of care, and shared clinical decision-making. The caseload is a balanced mix of wellness care, diagnostics, dentistry, and soft tissue surgery, supported by modern in-house equipment including digital radiography, ultrasound, and laboratory diagnostics to support efficient and accurate case management.

The working environment is structured to support both clinical quality and sustainable day-to-day flow. Veterinarians are supported by an experienced nursing and technician team, providing an approximate 45:1 support structure depending on caseload and shift demands. The culture is friendly, communicative, and focused on delivering consistent care while encouraging ongoing professional development.

What They're Looking For

DVM/VMD degree from an accredited university

Licensed or eligible to practice in Michigan

Comfortable with small animal general practice including routine surgery and medical cases

Strong communication and client relationship skills

Collaborative mindset with interest in team-based care
