Scheduling centers on weekday hours with limited Saturday availability to promote work-life balance. The Role
Provide comprehensive small-animal general practice care, including wellness and preventive medicine, dentistry, diagnostics, urgent care, and soft-tissue surgery
Manage cases with medical autonomy while collaborating closely with skilled technicians and client service teammates
Communicate clearly with clients to support education, compliance, and long-term relationships
Utilize on-site diagnostic and surgical capabilities to deliver efficient, high-quality care
Optional involvement with limited equine and bovine cases based on interest and experience
Participate in a balanced schedule focused on weekdays with limited Saturday coverage
Requirements
DVM/VMD (or equivalent) from an accredited institution
License to practice veterinary medicine in Illinois (or ability to obtain prior to start)
Eligibility to work in the United States
DEA registration (or eligibility to obtain)
Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and a client-centered approach
