The Hospital

Full-service general practice offering wellness care, diagnostics, surgery, and dentistry

On-site digital radiography, dental x-ray, and in-house laboratory diagnostics

General surgery and dental caseload, including routine spay-neuter

Client-friendly options such as curbside and drop-off appointments

In-house pharmacy with online pharmacy support

Additional client services including microchipping, medical grooming, and language interpretation

The Role

Full-time Associate Veterinarian in a small-animal setting

Deliver high-quality preventive care, wellness exams, and client education

Diagnose and treat cases using digital radiography, dental x-ray, and in-house lab resources

Perform general soft-tissue surgery and dentistry, including routine spay-neuter

Provide anesthesia, pain management, and comprehensive dental care

Collaborate with a skilled support team to optimize workflow and patient outcomes

Contribute to efficient curbside and drop-off appointment models

Maintain accurate medical records and uphold best-practice standards

Participate in a fair, predictable schedule that may include shared weekend coverage

Requirements

DVM or VMD degree from an accredited program

Active license (or eligibility) to practice veterinary medicine in New Jersey

Eligibility to work in the United States

DEA registration (or eligibility)

Strong communication skills and a team-first approach

Comfortable performing general surgery and dentistry or eager to develop these skills with mentorship
