Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Veterinarian role based in Towson, MD. The Veterinarian will provide medical care to companion animals, including performing physical examinations, diagnosing illnesses, developing treatment plans, and prescribing medications. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting wellness and sick visits, and administering vaccinations. The role also involves educating clients on preventive care, nutrition, and treatment options, reviewing diagnostic tests, and maintaining accurate medical records. The Veterinarian will collaborate with veterinary technicians and support staff to ensure efficient, high-quality patient care and a safe, respectful clinical environment.
Qualifications
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or equivalent) from an accredited institution and current, or eligibility for, Maryland veterinary licensure.
Proficiency in clinical diagnostics, including interpreting laboratory results, radiographs, and other imaging or diagnostic tests.
Strong client communication skills, with the ability to explain diagnoses, treatment options, and preventive care in a clear and compassionate manner.
Ability to work collaboratively with veterinary technicians and staff, demonstrating leadership, professionalism, and respect in a team-based environment.
Commitment to animal welfare, patient safety, and adherence to ethical and regulatory standards in veterinary practice
