Job description
Appalachian Animal Hospital in Weaverville, NC is seeking a small animal veterinarian to join our well-established, multi-doctor practice. We provide care for canines, felines, pocket pets, equines, and ruminants, offering a diverse and rewarding caseload. We welcome applications from experienced, surgically focused veterinarians as well as motivated recent graduates with a strong interest in surgery. Scheduling is flexible, and we are open to both full-time and part-time arrangements.
At Appalachian Animal Hospital, we pride ourselves on our family-like atmosphere where collaboration, support, and teamwork are at the heart of everything we do. This opportunity is ideal for veterinarians who enjoy working in a close-knit, skilled team.
Our full-time schedule consists of four weekdays (Monday–Friday) with only one weekend shift per month.
About Our Hospital:
Urgent Care Hours Monday-Thursday from 12pm - 10pm
Digital radiology, ultrasound, in-house labs, holistic and alternative care
Skilled support staff and collaborative, family-oriented team
Proud to work with Asheville Humane Society, Yancy County Humane Society, Madison County Humane Society, Hope for Horses and many other shelters and rescues!
