Job description
BluePearl in Pittsburgh, PA is looking a board-certified or residency-trained Veterinary Anesthesiologist! We are a busy multispecialty referral hospital supporting 9 surgeons and multiple other specialties. There is a team of dedicated anesthesia techs in support of that area. The anesthesia team enjoys support of excellent equipment including ultrasound for nerve blocks, ventilators, and a multimodal approach to anesthesia.
nAs a Veterinary Anesthesiologist , you will play a critical role in our hospital by:
nnnDesigning and overseeing customized anesthetic protocols for a variety of complex cases.
n
nnProviding pain management strategies tailored to each patient’s unique needs.
n
nnProficiency in monitoring and managing anesthesia for a wide range of surgical and critical cases
n
nnCollaborating closely with our surgical, internal medicine, and emergency teams.
n
nnTraining and mentoring clinicians and technicians to advance anesthesia best practices.
n
nnEnhancing patient outcomes by ensuring the highest level of anesthetic safety and monitoring.
n
n nQualifications
nnnDoctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree
n
nnBoard-certified or residency-trained in Veterinary Anesthesiology (ACVAA or equivalent)
n
nnEligible for veterinary licensure in the applicable state
n
nnExpertise in anesthesia protocols, pain management, and perioperative care
n
