Full-Time opportunity in Estero, Florida

FVRC is an established, fully equipped 24/7 specialty and emergency referral hospital with a strong team focused on delivering exceptional care to patients and the people who love them.
You’ll work alongside a highly skilled specialty and emergency team in a collaborative environment with advanced diagnostics and equipment. As the Cardiologist, you’ll have the opportunity to manage complex cardiac cases while working closely with emergency, ICU, and specialty teams.

In your day to day, you will:
Provide medical and interventional cardiology care, including diagnosis and management of complex cardiac cases
Perform and interpret echocardiograms, thoracic radiographs, ECGs, and Holter and telemetry monitoring
Participate in on call coverage for ER echocardiograms and cath procedures as needed
Collaborate with overnight ER and ICU teams to support inpatient cardiac care
Access ongoing mentorship and training opportunities, including cath lab experience across the network
Work closely with veterinarians, technicians, and support teams to provide seamless, compassionate patient care
Communicate clearly and empathetically with pet owners during stressful and emotional situations
Contribute to a positive, team focused hospital culture built on collaboration, mentorship, and continuous learning
What You Bring
DVM or equivalent veterinary degree with eligibility for state veterinary licensure
Board Certification in Cardiology (DACVIM Cardiology)
Strong communication skills with a compassionate, client centered approach
A collaborative mindset and commitment to exceptional patient care
A passion for continuous learning, teamwork, and advancing specialty medicine
