Global Talent Partners is proud to represent a respected full-service companion animal hospital in the Grand Rapids area that is seeking an experienced Medical Director to lead its clinical team.
This is an outstanding opportunity for a veterinarian looking to combine hands-on clinical work with leadership responsibilities. You'll play a key role in mentoring fellow veterinarians, maintaining exceptional medical standards and helping shape the future direction of a well-established hospital, while continuing to practice high-quality medicine.
The Practice
The hospital has built a loyal client base by providing compassionate, comprehensive veterinary care throughout every stage of a pet's life. You'll work alongside experienced veterinarians, licensed veterinary technicians and a dedicated support team committed to delivering exceptional client service and patient care.

Preventative and wellness care
Internal medicine
Soft tissue surgery
Orthopedic surgery
Dentistry
Digital radiography
Ultrasound
In-house laboratory diagnostics
Hospitalisation

As Medical Director you will:
Lead and mentor the veterinary team
Support clinical excellence and medical standards
Help recruit, develop and retain veterinary talent
Collaborate with the hospital leadership team
Encourage continuing education and professional development
Maintain a positive, collaborative culture while continuing to see appointments and perform surgery.
Candidate Requirements
DVM or equivalent qualification
Michigan veterinary license (or eligibility)
Several years of small animal clinical experience
Leadership or mentoring experience preferred
Excellent communication and team-building skills
Passion for developing people and delivering exceptional medicine
