Veterinary Medical Director - Established Practice, Excellent Location - Edmonds-Westgate Veterinary Hospital

Edmonds-Westgate Veterinary Hospital is seeking a Veterinary Medical Director to lead our established small animal practice in Edmonds, Washington.

This is an opportunity for a veterinarian who enjoys practicing high-quality medicine, mentoring colleagues, and helping shape the future of a hospital without losing the clinical work that drew them to veterinary medicine in the first place.

You'll join a collaborative 3-doctor team with a strong reputation in the community, a loyal client base, and the support needed to focus on both patient care and medical leadership. Clinic, Equipment & Support Team

Our hospital is equipped to support efficient, high-quality patient care, including:

Multiparameter monitoring for all anesthetic procedures

Full in-house diagnostic capabilities

Cornerstone practice management software

Experienced support staff committed to excellent patient care

Schedule

Four-day work week

Three consecutive days off each week

Rotating Saturdays

Hospital open Monday through Saturday

Qualifications

DVM or VMD degree from an accredited veterinary program

Washington veterinary license (or ability to obtain)

Several years of companion animal clinical experience

Strong surgery, dentistry, and medical case management skills

Demonstrated ability to mentor, coach, or lead others

Commitment to clinical excellence and collaborative medicine

Strong communication and relationship-building abilities

Previous Medical Director, Chief of Staff, Lead Veterinarian, or leadership experience is welcomed but not required.

The Company offers competitive compensation along with a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision benefits, vacation, sick leave, 401(k), and more depending on location. Washington Pay Range

$150,000 - $170,000 USD
