In your day to day, you will:

Manage oncology cases in close collaboration with Internal Medicine, Radiation Oncology, Surgery, and Critical Care

Oversee chemotherapy protocols and ensure compliance with USP 800 safety standards

Support daily client communication, including treatment updates, refills, and question triage

Mentor chemo trained technicians, assistants, and support staff

Pursue growth opportunities such as ultrasound training, ECT training, or clinical trial coordination

Work closely with veterinarians, technicians, and support teams to provide seamless, compassionate patient care

Communicate clearly and empathetically with pet owners during stressful and emotional situations

Contribute to a positive, team focused hospital culture built on collaboration, mentorship, and continuous learning

What You Bring

DVM or equivalent veterinary degree with eligibility for state veterinary licensure

Board Certification in Veterinary Medical Oncology or residency training in Veterinary Medical Oncology

Strong diagnostic and clinical skills with experience managing complex oncology cases

Excellent communication skills with a collaborative and client centered approach

A commitment to compassionate, patient focused cancer care and quality of life

A passion for mentorship, continuous learning, teamwork, and advancing specialty medicine

An interest in contributing to the continued growth of an established Oncology service

A desire to build lasting relationships with clients, patients, and referring veterinarians
