Veterinary Ophthalmology Opportunity - Bellevue, WA
A veterinary specialty practice is seeking a Veterinary Ophthalmologist to join its collaborative clinical team. This opportunity is ideal for a veterinarian who is passionate about ophthalmology, enjoys managing complex ophthalmic cases, and is committed to providing exceptional patient care in a supportive, multidisciplinary environment.
Key Responsibilities
Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with ophthalmic conditions.
Develop individualized treatment plans and monitor patient progress.
Perform and interpret advanced ophthalmic diagnostics and surgical procedures within the scope of practice.
Collaborate with specialists, emergency clinicians, and support staff to provide comprehensive patient care.
Communicate diagnoses, treatment options, and prognoses with clients and referring veterinarians.
Maintain accurate and timely medical records.
Participate in case discussions, continuing education, and quality improvement initiatives.
Uphold the highest standards of medical quality, patient care, and client service.
Qualifications Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree from an accredited institution.
Board certification or board eligibility in Veterinary Ophthalmology.
Active or eligible veterinary license in the state of practice.
Strong clinical judgment, communication, and interpersonal skills.
