Veterinary Receptionist/Customer Service RepresentativeJackson, MIKibby Park Animal Hospital is seeking an outgoing Veterinary Receptionist / Client Service Representative to serve as the welcoming face of our hospital. In this fast-paced role, you will create exceptional client experiences, build trust through compassionate service, manage appointments and daily patient flow, handle multi-line phones and in-person interactions, process transactions, and support clients with essential information about our services. Ideal candidates are friendly, detail-oriented, highly organized, and thrive in a team-focused customer service environment.Schedule and compensation:Compensation: $17 - $18 per hour, for each hour workedThis is a full-time position, with a 5-8s schedule and availability needed Monday-Friday, and rotating Saturdays.Full-time Benefits Package*:Health package: Medical, dental, and vision insuranceLife insurance and disabilityEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)401k with company matchPaid time off in accordance with site policy and applicable lawPersonal pet discountUniform allowance*Part-time team members may be eligible for limited benefits in accordance with company policy and state lawMinimum qualifications and skill set:1+ of experience in a customer service, reception, or client-facing rolePrevious veterinary receptionist or healthcare-related front-desk experience preferredProficiency in the following skills:Ability to manage a multi-phone line system while assisting in-person clientsExperience working with veterinary practice management software, especially Avimark, preferredExceptional verbal and written communication skillsAbility to provide compassionate, professional service to clients during both routine and emotionally sensitive situationsStrong organizational and time management skillsExperience scheduling appointments and coordinating calendars preferredAbility to accurately process payments and maintain financial recordsPositive attitude and willingness to collaborate with a teamAbility to remain calm, professional and solution-oriented during busy periodsWhy choose us?At Kibby Park Animal Hospital in Jackson, MI, we've been serving our community with trusted veterinary care for over 40 years.
