Client Services Team MemberFor more than 30 years, the Virginia Beach SPCA Low-Cost Veterinary Clinic (VBSPCA Veterinary Clinic) has been helping pets and the people who love them by providing accessible, affordable veterinary care to the Virginia Beach and Hampton Roads communities. We also utilize a cloud-based veterinary database and digital phone system, providing convenient access to patient and client information.What You'll Do As a member of our client services team, you'll play an important role in creating a positive experience for both our clients and their pets. You will:Be the first point of contact for our clients, welcoming each person with compassion, enthusiasm, and professionalismSchedule appointments and efficiently manage client check-in and check-outAnswer and manage phone and email communications, ensuring questions and requests are appropriately prioritized and routedProvide helpful and knowledgeable information about our services, pricing, and veterinary careMultitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of customer serviceHelp create a welcoming, supportive experience for clients navigating their pets' healthcare needsWhat We're Looking For We're looking for someone who is compassionate, dependable, organized, and genuinely enjoys helping both people and animals. The ideal candidate will have:Customer service experience; experience in a medical or veterinary setting is preferredThe ability to work collaboratively with people of different backgrounds, personalities, and communication stylesStrong multitasking, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skillsExcellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize in an active environmentA willingness and enthusiasm to learn, gain experience, and expand their knowledgeStrong verbal and written communication skillsPatience, empathy, and a good sense of humorWhat We Offer We believe in taking care of our team, too!
