Veterinary Technician Assistant - General Practice Hickory Veterinary Primary Care
Ambler, PA | Full-Time - Starting at $18/hr
** $1,000 Sign-on Bonus + $1,000 Retention Bonus**
Schedule
Tues 8a-7p, Thurs 8a-7p, Fri 8a-5p and Saturday 8a-1p

What You ll Do
Assisting veterinarians with routine general practice procedures: exams, diagnostics, anesthesia monitoring, lab work, venipuncture, and catheter placement
Support with patient intake, client communication, and education on treatments
Preparing patients for appointments, including reviewing and interpreting bloodwork, medical history, and diagnostics
Administering and monitoring medications, ensuring safe and accurate patient care
Communicating effectively and empathetically with clients during consultations, discharges, and follow-up updates
Maintaining accurate patient records and supporting seamless case management
Collaborating closely with veterinarians and fellow technicians to ensure comprehensive patient care
Supporting other hospital teams as needed once duties are complete
What You Bring :
CVT/LVT/RVT licensure a plus
Solid understanding of veterinary medical terminology, medications, and disease processes
Strong communication skills for client education and team collaboration
Ability to prioritize, stay organized, and multitask in a fast-paced environment
