Licensed Veterinary Technician Dentistry & Oral Surgery
Portland Veterinary Emergency and Specialty Care (PVESC) is a growing multi-specialty and emergency veterinary practice in the beautiful Portland, Maine area. We re seeking a Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) to join our Dentistry & Oral Surgery team and work alongside a board-certified veterinary dentist.

The Role
Assist with advanced dental and oral examinations, diagnostics, and procedures
Prepare patients and equipment and maintain safety and sterility
Monitor anesthesia and vital signs during dental and surgical procedures
Assist with periodontal, endodontic, prosthodontic, and oral surgery procedures
Educate clients on oral health, post-procedure care, and prevention
What We re Looking For
Current LVT credential in good standing
Veterinary dentistry experience preferred
Strong anesthesia, patient handling, and dental imaging skills
Excellent communication and teamwork
Positive, compassionate approach to patient care
EzyVet/SmartFlow experience a plus
Schedule & Compensation
Full-time: Tuesday Friday, 8:00 AM 6:30 PM (may vary)
Some holidays required
$25 $38/hour , based on experience and licensure
Up to $5,000 sign-on bonus commensurate with experience and credentials
