Emergency & Critical Care Technician - Overnights
Join the overnight ECC team at Portland Veterinary Emergency and Specialty Care (PVESC), where great medicine, teamwork, and growth come together.
We re a growing multi-specialty and emergency practice in Portland, Maine, expanding soon with a state-of-the-art, 42,000-square-foot hospital in Falmouth, Maine.
We believe great patient care starts with a great team. 5,000 retention bonus, available for Licensed Veterinary Technicians for overnight position for full-time hires
Shift differentials for mid, overnight, and weekend shifts

Full-time | Tuesday, Friday, Saturday | 7:30 PM 8:00 AM ( shifts offered may change based on hiring needs)
Some holidays required.
As an ECC Technician, you ll work alongside our Criticalists, ER doctors and nursing team to:
Triage and stabilize emergency patients
Administer medications and manage fluid therapy
Monitor anesthesia and support emergency procedures
Maintain accurate medical records and treatment plans
LVT/CVT/RVT credentials or strong Veterinary Assistant experience
Experience with diagnostics, imaging, and anesthesia monitoring
A passion for emergency and specialty medicine
Experienced Veterinary Assistants are encouraged to apply.
