Job description
WE'RE HIRING! PFA's Millville location is recruiting for a new Surgical Veterinary Technician! The SVT is responsible for daily care of all surgical patients and any other animals in the care of the clinic.
Provide compassionate small animal care for surgical patients before, during, and after procedures.
Prepare patients for surgery, including surgical site preparation, equipment setup, and patient positioning.
Monitor anesthesia throughout surgical procedures and promptly communicate changes in patient status to the veterinary team.
Support patient recovery by monitoring post-operative vital signs, comfort, and discharge readiness.
Qualifications:
Must be 18 years or older
HS diploma or equivalent required
One year professional experience in a veterinary office or animal shelter setting required
Hourly Rate: $18-$24
Work Schedule:
Monday - Wednesday and Fridays.
Off Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday
