Job description
Veterinary Urgent Care Technician
Pay: $21.50-$32.00/hour (based on experience and education) Schedule: 4 days per week, 10-hour shifts | Flexibility in Schedule | Rotating Weekends Shift Differential: Additional $4.00/hour after 2:00 PM

Pieper Veterinary Berlin Street offers the excitement and variety of urgent care medicine without the demands of overnight emergency practice. Our collaborative environment allows technicians to fully utilize their skills while working alongside experienced veterinary professionals dedicated to exceptional patient care.
As our Veterinary Urgent Care Technician, you'll play a key role in patient assessment, treatment support, diagnostics, anesthesia monitoring, and client communication. This role is ideal for a technician who enjoys a fast-paced environment, thrives on teamwork, and wants to make a meaningful impact every day.
Requirements for this role | Non-negotiable
2+ years of Veterinary Technician experience
Experience with venipuncture and phlebotomy
Experience placing IV catheters
Knowledge of anesthesia and patient monitoring
Strong technical nursing skills
Strong client service and communication skills
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Availability to work weekends
Must be 18 years of age or older
Preferred qualifications | Not a deal breaker
Associate's Degree in Veterinary Technology
CVT credential
CPR experience
Experience with EzyVet
Urgent care, emergency, or specialty medicine experience
Strong interest in continued learning and professional development
