Company Overview:
A leading global investment firm with approximately $370 billion in client assets is seeking to hire a Vice President, External Wholesaler for the Midwest region. The firm specializes in providing creative capital solutions across various strategies, including private and public credit.
Job Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary external sales representative for investment solutions across the Midwest region
Raise capital for investment funds through wirehouse Financial Advisors, Registered Investment Advisors (RIAs), Independent Broker Dealers, and other intermediary channels
Develop, maintain, and expand relationships with alternative investment-focused advisors and key centers of influence throughout the territory
Partner with product specialists, investment professionals, and marketing resources to deliver highly consultative, content-driven sales engagement
Execute territory business plans designed to drive advisor engagement, increase wallet share, and achieve asset-raising goals
Coordinate advisor meetings, educational events, conferences, and client presentations throughout the region
Maintain a high level of expertise regarding investment strategies, private credit markets, alternative investments, and industry trends
Travel extensively throughout the Midwest territory to support advisor relationships and business development efforts
Qualifications:
Minimum Bachelor's degree
Minimum 7-9 years of financial industry experience
Significant experience with alternative investment sales
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively
Compensation:
Salary: $200,000 - $200,000, Plus Bonus
