Job Description:
Own and manage fund control processes for credit-focused hedge fund strategies
Lead valuation review processes independently, including pricing sources, broker marks, model inputs, and valuation movements
Develop automated P&L explain and attribution reporting, identifying key drivers such as market movements, new trades, and carry
Challenge and investigate valuation variances, stale pricing, and unusual portfolio movements
Review NAV production, fund accounting outputs, and month-end close processes
Partner with investment teams, fund administrators, auditors, and tax advisers to ensure accurate reporting
Drive the design and implementation of improved processes and controls as the platform scales
Support new product launches, trade workflows, and lifecycle events
Requirements / Qualifications:
8+ years of relevant experience in fund control, product control, valuations, fund accounting, or finance within a bank, asset manager, hedge fund, or investment management firm
Strong understanding of credit products, including corporate credit, loans, bonds, structured credit, private credit, distressed credit, or credit derivatives
Demonstrable experience independently reviewing and owning valuation processes
Strong technical fund accounting and financial control skills, ideally within hedge fund or alternative investment structures
Advanced Excel skills; experience with fund accounting, portfolio management, or valuation systems is a plus
Strong written and verbal communication skills
