Job description
FGP is leading the retained search for an experienced and strategic marketing leader to drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and organizational growth with our client, SC Student Loan Corporation. The Vice President of Marketing will develop and execute integrated marketing strategies, oversee brand management and communications, and partner with senior leadership to support key business objectives.
This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, creativity, data-driven decision making, and leadership. The ideal candidate will be passionate about building strong brands, engaging target audiences, and delivering measurable results across multiple channels.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute marketing and outreach strategies that support organizational growth and visibility.
Lead brand management, communications, digital marketing, and customer engagement initiatives.
Analyze market trends, customer insights, and performance data to inform strategic decisions.
Partner with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to align marketing efforts with business priorities.
Oversee public relations, media relations, and reputation management activities.
Establish and track performance metrics, evaluating campaign effectiveness and return on investment.
Manage external agencies, vendors, and marketing partners.
Lead, mentor, and develop marketing team members.
Manage marketing budgets and resource allocation to maximize impact.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.
Progressive experience in marketing, communications, brand management, digital marketing, or customer engagement.
Prior leadership experience managing teams, projects, agencies, or cross-functional initiatives.
Strong analytical skills with experience using CRM, marketing automation, and reporting tools.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of an organization.
