Vice President – National Retail Chains (VP, NRC)
Our client is seeking a senior commercial leader to own and expand relationships with major national retail chains. The VP of National Retail Chains will drive revenue growth, profitability, and market share while leading strategic retail initiatives across top‑tier accounts.
This is a critical hire. Only share candidates who meet the food manufacturing requirement.

Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute a national retail strategy aligned with company growth objectives
Manage executive-level relationships with major national retailers (Walmart, Target, Costco, Best Buy, etc.)
Lead, mentor, and scale a high-performing national accounts team
Drive revenue through negotiations, promotions, assortment strategy, and execution
Partner cross‑functionally with Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, and Product teams
Oversee forecasting, analytics, and performance tracking to identify growth opportunities
Stay ahead of retail trends, consumer insights, and competitive dynamics
Mandatory Requirements
10+ years of progressive leadership experience in retail sales / national accounts
Direct experience working in Food Manufacturing
Proven success managing large national retail chains with significant revenue ownership
Strong leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
Data‑driven, strategic mindset with the ability to operate in fast‑paced environments
Education
Bachelor’s degree required (MBA preferred)
