Job description
Unity Search has exclusively partnered with a private equity-backed acquisition and operations platform seeking a hands-on Vice President of Accounting.
This opportunity will lead all financial accounting activities across a growing multi-entity organization. Reporting directly to the CFO, this individual will oversee GAAP compliance, technical accounting, audits, tax coordination, consolidations, and acquisition accounting while helping build scalable processes and controls.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead financial accounting, consolidations, and month-end close across a multi-entity environment.
Own technical accounting policies, GAAP compliance, external audits, and annual tax processes.
Manage acquisition accounting, ASC 805 purchase accounting, and integration of newly acquired entities.
Lead Regional Controllers and accounting teams across multiple locations.
Partner with the CFO on lender, investor, and board reporting.
Strengthen internal controls, accounting processes, and reporting infrastructure.
Qualifications:
10+ years of progressive accounting experience in a multi-entity environment.
CPA required with strong technical accounting expertise.
Experience with audits, tax compliance, consolidations, and acquisition accounting.
Private equity-backed experience strongly preferred.
NetSuite (OneWorld preferred) or similar ERP experience.
Proven leadership experience managing accounting teams across multiple locations.
