Vice President of Accounting

Job Type: Full-time/Direct Hire
Location: Onsite in Western United States
Compensation: This job is expected to pay a base of about $210-230k plus bonus & relocation

What You’ll Do:
Oversee general ledger activity, account reconciliations, and month-end and year-end close processes
Lead accurate, GAAP-compliant financial reporting and drive stronger discipline across the reporting cycle
Own the internal and external audit relationship, addressing gaps in past audit performance and building a stronger control environment going forward
Direct accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance
Manage and develop accounting team members, raising the bar on technical strength and accountability across the department
What Gets You the Job:
Certified Public Accountant (CPA), required
Proven experience leading an accounting function through complex audits, with a track record of strong audit outcomes
Experience in a large hospitality or casino resort environment, ideally within an integrated resort managing multiple systems and business lines
Strong leadership experience, with a demonstrated ability to build, develop, and elevate an accounting team
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience
