What We're Looking For

10+ years of relevant fundraising, nonprofit leadership, business development, sponsorship, relationship-management, or related experience.

Experience managing one or more functional teams and translating organizational goals into clear team plans, priorities, and expectations.

Direct experience working with Boards of Trustees, committees, or volunteer leadership groups .

Experience with annual giving, major gifts, sponsorships, peer-to-peer fundraising, donor stewardship, campaign fulfillment, or related fundraising initiatives.

Superior problem-solving, analytical thinking, time management, organization, follow-through, and project management skills.

Exceptional written, verbal, and situational communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage teammates, Board members, committees, donors, and external partners.

Ability to help teams find common purpose, maintain alignment, and stay focused during times of high stress.

Comfort using donor databases, campaign reports, spreadsheets, financial information, and fundraising data to inform priorities and next steps.

Be Part of Something Extraordinary

The 2030 Special Olympics USA Games will bring together athletes, families, volunteers, supporters, and communities for an unforgettable celebration of inclusion, determination, and achievement.

This is an opportunity to help build the fundraising infrastructure and relationships that will make the Games possible — and to be part of an event that will have a lasting impact on Cleveland and beyond.
