Eskenazi Health is seeking an experienced and strategic Vice President of Revenue Cycle Services to provide executive leadership across the revenue cycle continuum and help advance our mission to Advocate, Care, Teach, and Serve—with a special focus on the vulnerable populations of Marion County. This executive leader will partner closely with operational, clinical, and financial leaders to optimize revenue cycle performance, enhance reimbursement strategies, improve patient financial experiences, and support the organization's long-term financial sustainability.

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Vice President of Revenue Cycle Services provides strategic leadership and operational oversight for revenue cycle operations across Eskenazi Health. This executive will lead departmental performance, financial stewardship, workforce planning, policy development, and organizational initiatives that support revenue integrity, operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and strategic objectives.

Lead and optimize core revenue cycle functions, including Patient Access Services, Financial Eligibility, Coding/CDIP, Health Information Management, Patient Financial Services, Revenue Integrity, and Revenue Recovery.

Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and performance improvement initiatives that strengthen revenue cycle outcomes.

Ensure compliance with CMS requirements, payer regulations, HIPAA standards, and organizational policies.

Develop and manage departmental budgets while holding leaders accountable for achieving operational and financial goals.

Partner with executive leadership to advance managed care, reimbursement, contracting, and value-based care initiatives.

Recruit, mentor, evaluate, and develop department leaders and management teams.

Serve on executive committees, task forces, and strategic workgroups that support organizational success.

Foster a culture of professionalism, respect, innovation, development, and excellence.

Demonstrated leadership experience overseeing complex healthcare revenue cycle operations in a high-volume environment.

Master's degree in Healthcare Administration, Hospital Administration, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field preferred.

Strong knowledge of revenue cycle management, reimbursement methodologies, managed care contracting, regulatory compliance, and healthcare financial operations.

Success in this role requires exceptional communication, strategic planning, analytical, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to collaborate effectively with physicians, executives, operational leaders, and external stakeholders. A strong understanding of healthcare reimbursement, revenue optimization, regulatory requirements, and organizational financial performance is essential.
