Job description

Since 1987, MetroTech Automotive has been a trusted growth partner to franchised dealerships across the country — delivering appearance protection, F&I solutions, and operational programs that move the needle on dealership profitability. As we expand, we are seeking an experienced VP of Sales to lead our national field organization. Reporting directly to the Chief Revenue Officer, the VP of Sales will drive revenue growth across our full product and services portfolio and help shape our long-term strategy. This is a high-visibility, high-impact executive role for a proven leader who is energized by building — not just managing.

About MetroTech

MetroTech Automotive is a privately held, vertically integrated company — and proud of it. As a chemical manufacturer and outsourced labor provider with nearly four decades of dealership partnerships, we operate with the stability of an established brand and the agility of a growth business. Our independence means decisions get made quickly, relationships run deep, and the people here have real ownership over outcomes.

Primary Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Development

Lead, coach, and develop a national team of Regional Sales Managers, building a culture of accountability, performance, and growth.

Recruit and retain top-performing sales talent; invest in the development of the people around you.

Drive profitable revenue growth across MetroTech’s products and services portfolio.

Partner with the CRO on strategy, pricing, and national growth initiatives.

Improve pipeline management, forecasting, CRM discipline, and sales accountability across the organization.

Translate commercial strategy into consistent field execution, ensuring clear priorities, disciplined follow-through, and measurable results across territories.

Dealer & Partner Relationships

Strengthen and expand relationships with dealer groups, agents, and strategic partners.

Represent MetroTech at major industry events and executive customer meetings.

Serve as a senior voice in the room for our most important dealer conversations.

Provide competitive intelligence and actionable market insight to executive leadership.

Identify emerging opportunities in the automotive aftermarket and translate them into commercial strategy.

Required Experience

Typically 20+ years of progressive automotive sales experience, including significant leadership responsibility within the dealership channel — with a clear track record of results at scale.

Proven success selling automotive chemical products, appearance protection programs, or closely related solutions to franchised automotive dealers.

Meaningful experience with F&I products, dealership finance operations, or dealer profitability programs.

Demonstrated ability to lead regional or national field sales organizations through growth.

Executive presence and strong relationship-building skills at the dealer group and C-suite level.

CRM fluency and comfort with KPI-driven sales management and forecasting.

Preferred Background

Experience with dealership chemical programs, reconditioning, detail operations, or dealer-installed products.

An existing network within major dealer groups and the broader automotive retail community.

Leadership Profile

The leader we’re looking for doesn’t just manage a sales org — they build one. We’re seeking someone who combines strategic thinking with a hands‑on leadership style, high integrity with a customer‑first mindset, and the ability to develop people while driving execution.

Strategic thinker who can move seamlessly between executive-level strategy and hands‑on field execution.

Develops the people around them; builds accountability without sacrificing culture.

Collaborative and data‑driven — earns trust through transparency and results.

High integrity, customer‑first approach to every decision.
