Job description
Are you an experienced sales leader with a strong background in power generation, generators, gensets, engine-starting systems or related critical power solutions?
Our client is an established and rapidly growing manufacturer of high-reliability power solutions supporting data centers, utilities, healthcare, telecom and industrial customers across North America. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a Vice President of Sales to lead the commercial strategy and accelerate growth across their Power Generation business.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute the sales strategy for the Power Generation division.
Drive revenue growth across new and existing markets throughout North America.
Lead, develop and expand the PowerGen sales team.
Build relationships with generator OEMs, distributors, dealers, end users and strategic partners.
Identify new customers, markets and channel opportunities.
Manage key accounts and support the closing of major opportunities.
Establish sales targets, forecasts and performance metrics.
Collaborate with product, engineering and marketing teams to align solutions with customer needs.
Represent the company at customer meetings, industry events and trade shows.
Qualifications
Senior sales leadership experience within power generation, critical power or a closely related market.
Strong knowledge of generators, gensets, engine-starting systems or associated power equipment.
Proven record of delivering revenue growth and developing new markets.
Experience building and leading high-performing sales teams.
Established relationships across the PowerGen industry.
Strong experience managing direct sales, key accounts and channel partners.
Commercially driven, strategic and comfortable remaining hands-on with customers.
Based around Denver, Colorado, or willing to relocate to the area.
Lead the sales strategy for a strategically important Power Generation business.
