Job Title: Vice President, Strategic Partnerships & Business Development
Position Summary
Lifestyle Brand is seeking a highly motivated and relationship-driven executive to lead strategic business development and accelerate revenue growth. This individual will be responsible for identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities across licensed sports, major retailers, consumer brands, golf, outdoor, and women's active lifestyle markets. The ideal candidate is a proven rainmaker with an established network of senior decision-makers and a track record of creating strategic partnerships that generate meaningful long-term revenue. This role is focused on opening doors, negotiating partnerships, and building new channels of distribution rather than managing existing accounts .
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute a strategic growth plan for the Company’s brand and licensed collegiate business.
Identify and secure new retail, licensing, and brand partnership opportunities.
Build executive-level relationships with major retailers, consumer brands, sports organizations, and licensing partners.
Negotiate commercial agreements and strategic collaborations that drive profitable revenue growth.
Identify new market opportunities across sporting goods, golf, outdoor, collegiate, team sports, and lifestyle channels.
Work closely with internal product development, design, sourcing, marketing, and operations teams to bring new opportunities to market.
Represent brand at industry events, customer meetings, trade shows, and strategic partner presentations.
Develop a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities and consistently achieve agreed-upon revenue objectives.
Provide market intelligence on competitive activity, emerging trends, and new partnership opportunities.
Qualifications
7+ years of successful business development, strategic partnerships, licensing, or sales leadership experience.
Demonstrated history of generating significant new revenue through executive relationships.
Existing network within retail, sporting goods, licensed products, consumer brands, or sports organizations.
Strong negotiation and relationship management skills.
Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to create opportunities where none currently exist.
Experience working with consumer products, apparel, accessories, or licensed merchandise is strongly preferred.
Willingness to travel as needed to meet customers and strategic partners.
Salary $200,000 – $300,000 + Bonus
