Job description
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations, Business, or a related field
15+ years of progressive manufacturing and operations leadership experience
Proven experience leading multiple manufacturing facilities or a large, complex manufacturing network
Preferred Requirements
Advanced degree or equivalent executive leadership experience
Automotive, engineered products, or similarly complex manufacturing experience
The successful candidate will provide executive leadership for a large, multi-site manufacturing network with responsibility for strengthening operational performance, profitability, and long-term competitiveness. This executive will translate business strategy into a clear operating agenda while building the leadership systems, organizational capabilities, and execution discipline necessary to deliver consistent results.
Responsibilities
Set the multi-site operations strategy and translate business objectives into clear priorities for plant performance, capacity, resources, and long-term competitiveness
Improve financial and operational results across safety, quality, delivery, cost, productivity, inventory, working capital, and cash generation
Optimize the manufacturing network through effective footprint planning, asset utilization, capacity strategy, capital deployment, and structural productivity initiatives
Accelerate operational transformation by advancing Lean practices, automation, reliability, digital manufacturing, and standardized operating systems
Build a high-performing operations organization by developing plant leadership, strengthening succession pipelines, and establishing clear ownership for business results
Collaborate across Commercial, Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, Finance, and Human Resources to align customer requirements, launches, investments, labor strategies, and operational priorities
