Job description
For our client, we are seeking a Vice President, Total Rewards to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space.
This leader will shape a global total rewards strategy that supports business priorities while strengthening competitiveness and the employee experience. The role will partner closely with senior leadership to guide compensation, benefits, payroll, and recognition decisions across a complex enterprise. This position also serves as a trusted advisor to C-suite stakeholders and contributes recommendations that inform executive and Board-level discussions.
Location: Valley Stream, NY - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $225,000 – $250,000 annually
Responsibilities
Define and execute a global total rewards strategy aligned with business priorities
Advise senior leadership on compensation and recognition strategies
Develop a roadmap that balances competitiveness with the employee experience
Lead the design and administration of global compensation programs
Oversee global health, welfare, and retirement benefits
Manage global payroll operations and vendor performance
Serve as a trusted advisor on total rewards matters
Qualifications
12+ years of experience in total rewards, compensation, benefits, payroll, or HR disciplines
Experience leading global total rewards in complex organizations
Proven success in enterprise compensation and payroll strategies
Ability to advise C-suite executives and prepare Board recommendations
Strong financial acumen with budget and vendor management experience
Experience with process redesign and technology enablement
Knowledge of global total rewards governance and risk management
