About this role
OpenTrain is recruiting a Video Data Annotation Specialist for a remote contractor project supporting the development of artificial intelligence systems. You will review short video and audio clips, assess AI-generated descriptions, apply moderation standards, and provide clear feedback that helps improve model quality.
What you will do
You will annotate multimedia clips according to project guidelines, evaluate descriptions for accuracy and appropriateness, flag uncertain or inappropriate content, and explain potential inaccuracies or ambiguities. You will maintain consistent, high-quality annotations across substantial volumes of work, collaborate remotely to clarify guidelines and improve processes, and protect confidential project data.
Required skills
Experience with video or audio annotation, content labeling, or digital content moderation is preferred. You should have strong written English, careful visual and audio judgment, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while adapting to changing guidelines. Familiarity with guideline-based evaluation or quality assurance and a commitment to responsible handling of sensitive information are also valuable.
Schedule and compensation
This is remote contractor work with flexible scheduling. The advertised compensation range is $8-$10 per hour.
