Job description
The Research Scientist 1 in Virology at the Wadsworth Center's Viral Encephalitis Laboratory in Albany, NY will develop, perform, and maintain clinical PCR and RT-PCR assays for viral detection in human specimens.
You will conduct validation experiments for new assays and participate in quality assurance activities, with a bachelor's degree and 2+ years of post‑degree research experience required.
