Job description
Virtual Customer Service Professional (work from home)
Full-time (minimum 25 hours per week)
Hourly pay rate: $9.00 – $14.00 per hour, depending on experience and the company you are assigned to.
Must be 18+ to apply. Requires a high school diploma or equivalency. Secondary education and/or some college preferred.
Job type: 1099 contractor, working from home.
Skill Set Overview
Excellent listening and strong English communication skills (verbal and written)
Resolve concerns or complaints related to your client
No cold calling or telemarketing; inbound calls only
Able to perform basic math skills
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast‑paced environment
Comfortable with basic computer skills including email and documents
Must be able to pass a background check (drug test may be required by the client)
Minimum 3+ months of customer service, retail, or sales experience preferred
Must have a quiet home office with no ambient sounds (pets, children, etc.)
Must be able to schedule work hours and train consecutively for up to 4 hours in the evening or morning, for a total of 10 weeks

High‑speed internet access provided by a cable or DSL provider (satellite broadband does not meet our requirements; use of wireless and Wi‑Fi "air cards" is prohibited)
Dedicated, hard‑wired phone with no features
Computer specifications:
Minimum hardware: 2 GB RAM, 80 GB IDE, single core 1.4 GHz, 48‑line CD
Minimum OS: Windows XP Service Pack 3, Windows 7 32‑bit and 64‑bit, and Mac OS 10
