Virtual Services SpecialistThe Virtual Services Specialist will provide excellent member service and maintain strong professional relationships with all members, and will be responsible for gathering the appropriate information to open new accounts, promote current products and service, educate account holders on credit union policies and will ensure that member requests and questions are promptly resolved.Position Responsibilities:Assist members with opening new personal and business accounts, process changes to existing accounts, and provide onsite support for credit/debit card issues.Inform members of Credit Union services and policies including; eligibility for membership, types of available accounts, interest and dividend rates, payroll deduction options, and other related services and information.Verify and balance transactions and cash totals.Process wire transfers, IRA/CD deposits and withdrawalsOpen and close computer terminal accounts daily.Monitor deposit amounts and examine documents for endorsement and negotiability.Detect and resolve discrepancies promptly.Assist with loan processing and posting loan payments.Maintain privacy of member account information.Provide backup support and guidance to Representatives, Advisors and Agents as needed.Keep a clean, organized work area and a professional appearance.Provide feedback to supervisor of any significant problems or concerns.Complete required reports and records accurately and promptly.Attend meetings as required.Other duties as assigned.Requirements:High school diploma or equivalent required1+years' Member Service Representative/Teller experience requiredBilingual (Spanish)Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Excellent knowledge of policies and procedures.Basic understanding of Credit Union operations.Excellent mathematical and problem solving skills.Excellent written, listening and verbal communication skills.Excellent customer service skills.Ability to operate 10-key series.Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality.Must have the ability to multitask, prioritize, and adapt to a consistently changing environment.Proficient working knowledge in Microsoft computer applications and other virtual platforms.Physical Demands and Work Environment:Stationary work, often requiring standing or sitting for prolonged periodsOperate standard office equipment and keyboardsVisually recognize, reconcile, and verify numerical details for accuracyRepeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingersMust be able to access and navigate facility with reasonable accommodationsLift and carry small parcels, packages and other itemsAdditional Notes:Candidates being considered for employment with Resource One must successfully complete a credit check, background check and drug screen.This Job Description is not a complete statement of all duties, responsibilities and physical demands comprising this position.Equal Employment Opportunity EmployerOur credit union team and members include people of all races, religions, cultures, physical abilities, sexual orientations, and gender identities and/or expressions.
