Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated Virtual Tax Preparer to join our team, with training provided to ensure your success in this role. This position offers flexibility with both remote and in-person options. As a Virtual Tax Preparer, you will be responsible for preparing individual tax returns, providing excellent customer service, and utilizing tax preparation software. This role is ideal for individuals interested in developing their skills in tax preparation within a supportive environment. Duties
Prepare accurate and compliant tax returns for individual clients using tax preparation software
Assist clients by answering questions and providing guidance throughout the tax filing process
Ensure all tax documents are completed efficiently and submitted timely
Maintain confidentiality and security of client information
Stay updated on current tax laws and regulations to ensure accurate filings
Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries professionally and promptly
Collaborate with team members to improve processes and client satisfaction
No prior experience required; training will be provided to develop necessary skills
Basic understanding of individual taxes preferred but not mandatory
Proficiency with computers and familiarity with tax preparation software is a plus
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Excellent communication skills for effective customer service
Ability to work independently in a remote or in-person setting
