Job description
MaineHealth is seeking an experienced Program Director for the Family Medicine Residency Program located in Portland, Maine. This role encompasses leadership, compliance with ACGME requirements, and fostering an inclusive educational environment. The Program Director will oversee the curriculum and faculty support, while also engaging in active clinical practice.
Ideal candidates will possess an MD or DO degree, board certification in Family Medicine, and a minimum of three years in a leadership role. Experience within graduate medical education is essential. The position allows for substantial influence on the direction and success of residency training.
