Data Analyst
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain high quality Tableau and Power BI dashboards that visually communicate performance trends, operational insights, and business outcomes. Translate complex datasets into intuitive, visually compelling analytics that enable stakeholders to quickly understand key drivers, risks, and opportunities. Partner closely with business stakeholders to understand analytical needs and define visualization requirements, including KPIs, metrics, and storytelling approaches. Create business solutions that improve efficiency, productivity, and decision making across operating organizations. Collaborate with business our data analytics team and IT to ensure data sources, view tables, and models are accurate, performant, and aligned with business definitions. Gather, document, and validate detailed business requirements and translate them into technical specifications and System Requirement Specifications (SRS). Develop and maintain system interfaces and business process specifications related to analytics and reporting solutions. Ensure dashboards follow best practices in visual design, usability, and accessibility, including consistency, clarity, and effective use of color, layout, and interaction.
Required Skills / Experience
2–5 years of demonstrated experience in visual analytics, business intelligence, or data visualization roles. Strong expertise in visual analytics and data storytelling, with the ability to present insights in a clear, concise, and business focused manner. Strong visual design sensibility and familiarity with data visualization best practices (e.g., chart selection, layout, hierarchy, and storytelling). Proven ability to work directly with business users to gather requirements, facilitate discussions, and create user stories that translate business needs into analytics solutions. Proficiency in Azure DevOps or similar sprint and backlog management tools. Advanced expertise in Tableau Desktop, including: dashboard and worksheet creation, calculated fields, parameters, and action filters, data source management and troubleshooting, performance optimization. Advanced expertise in Power BI, including: interactive dashboard and report development, data modeling and DAX (as applicable), report troubleshooting and optimization.

Highly skilled in visual analytics. Capable of working with business users to gather requirements and create user stories. Proficient in Azure DevOps or similar sprint management tools. Expertise in Tableau Desktop (dashboard creation, report authoring and troubleshooting, data source management). Expertise in Power BI (dashboard creation, report authoring and troubleshooting, data source management). Proficient in SQL (able to write and edit queries). Experience in building and publishing interactive dashboards on Tableau Server. Knowledge of scheduling dashboards for automatic data refresh. Proficiency in data blending. Ability to create action filters, parameters, and calculations for preparing dashboards and worksheets in Tableau. Experience in testing, cleaning, and standardizing data to meet business standards.
