Volleyball Coach / Assistant Coach (Seasonal)
Sid Jacobson JCC | Greenvale, NY
Sid Jacobson JCC is seeking an enthusiastic and dependable Volleyball Coach or Assistant Coach to work with youth athletes during our 4-month volleyball season . The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching, strong volleyball knowledge, and the ability to create a positive and engaging environment for players.
Responsibilities:
Lead or assist with weekly volleyball practices.
Teach fundamental skills including serving, passing, setting, hitting, and game strategy.
Promote teamwork, sportsmanship, and player development.
Supervise athletes during practices and weekend games.
Communicate professionally with players, parents, and staff.
Assist with equipment setup and breakdown.
Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years of volleyball coaching experience required.
Experience coaching youth athletes preferred.
Strong knowledge of volleyball fundamentals and rules.
Reliable, energetic, and organized.
Strong communication and leadership skills.
Schedule:
1-2 practices per week
Weekend games
4-month seasonal commitment
Compensation:
$25-$40 per hour , based on experience and qualifications.
