Type of role: Part-time
Job Category: Volunteer Management
Hourly: $20 - $25
Mission Statement
Life doesn't always go the way we plan and can leave us feeling trapped or hurt. Through the unique, God-given connection between people and horses, we help those who have experienced pain find hope and wholeness.
Grace Mountain Ranch Foundation exists to expand access to equine-assisted programs, strengthen families and individuals through horsemanship, and steward the land and animals entrusted to our care.
Key Characteristics
Gracious – We believe lives can be transformed when God's grace is extended through His creation.
Excellent – We always do our best because we believe excellence reflects the character of God.
Servant-Minded – We constantly surprise people by how we serve them.
Critical Actions
We care: We care for our team and participants by offering empathy and grace at all times. We are faithful stewards of our herd, ranch, and resources.
We guide. We guide people to better understand themselves and their relationships with others by facilitating the connection between people, horses, and our Creator.
We create safe spaces. We offer a warm and welcoming environment that creates a shelter for vulnerability without judgment so that people can find hope and wholeness.
Position Summary: Grace Mountain Ranch is a new organization, and we are excited to add a superstar to the team as we aim to change the world with horses and point people to Jesus. The Volunteer & Administrative Coordinator (VAC) role is the heart of our growing organization and is essential for providing quality services and support to our volunteers, as well as keeping everyone organized and on the same page through administrative coordination and date management responsibilities. The VAC oversees volunteer training, coordination, appreciation, as well as coordinating lesson participants, handling GMR's scheduling software and donor database management system. Responsibilities include volunteer onboarding, recruitment, coordination and support, donor management with records and receipts, and lesson scheduling for the horsemanship program.
