Work Here!Serves civil papers and criminal warrants as directed.Patrols precinct to deter crime.Assists public within scope of authority.Secures and preserves crime scenes.May work with traffic enforcement/traffic investigation.Minimum Requirements:High School Diploma/GED.Basic TCOLE certification.Two (2) years of full-time or 2 years reserve deputy/officer job-related work experience is required.Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with the public.Valid Texas Driver License.Firearms proficiency.This is a Volunteer Position - No Salary - No Benefits are includedAll full-time and part-time employees are members of the Texas County District Retirement System (TCDRS).
