Job description
Better Home & Finance Holding Company is seeking a Senior Director / VP of Accounting to own the completeness and accuracy of our financial records across the mortgage lifecycle. You will lead the close, drive technical accounting for mortgage banking instruments, and partner with FP&A, Engineering, Product, and Capital Markets to automate processes at scale.
This is a build role focused on speed and control, with responsibility for SEC reporting, SOX, and establishing a scalable accounting
