Horizon Media, founded in 1989, is an innovative marketing and advertising firm headquartered in New York City with offices in Los Angeles and Toronto.
What You’ll Do
The VP of Analytic Insights will champion and streamline cross‑channel analytics and insights offerings, build client‑specific solutions, and lead a team of analytics professionals.
Build a Horizon Media approach and infrastructure for analytics on existing clients and provide measurement guidance on new business pitches.
Develop clear and concise dashboards that deliver information in an intelligent and digestible manner (approx. 5%).
Work closely with media planning and brand strategy teams to develop KPIs and reporting methodologies that align with campaign and brand goals (approx. 5%).
Analyze raw data, filter unnecessary layers, and deliver constructive, concise analysis and insights to internal and external client stakeholders (approx. 5%).
Manage client expectations successfully across multiple engagements (approx. 85%).
Supervise and mentor the Analytics team, including people managers and individual contributors.
Who You Are
10–15 years of relevant experience in digital and traditional media analytics.
Strong business acumen and superior client service skills.
Proven track record building analytic approaches across a broad mix of clients.
Excellent verbal and written communication with the ability to convey technical findings in layman’s terms.
Experience building, training, and mentoring junior staff on digital analytics and measurement.
Exposure to mobile, social, tablet measurement and multi‑touch attribution in media evaluation.
Deep relationships with qualitative digital metric companies (e.g., Vizu, Dynamic Logic, ComScore, Dimestore, Symphony IRI).
Expertise in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
Ability to coordinate efforts across various teams and offices.
Key Behavioral Competencies
Strong analytical skills; ability to analyze raw data, draw conclusions, and summarize actionable recommendations.
Thought leadership on all aspects of digital advertising, digital media strategy, and standard media measurement.
Preferred Skills & Experience
Build customized multi‑channel attribution models, internally or using leading platforms.
Identify opportunities to productize revenue‑generating analytic solutions and sell them to internal and external clients.
Experience managing and coordinating efforts across multiple teams/offices.
Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range: $200,000.00 – $240,000.00 per year (base salary may vary).
