Own the company’s financial model, cash forecast, liquidity plan, and performance reporting.

Translate financial and operating data into clear insights and recommendations.

Partner with business leaders on pricing, contracts, investments, cost savings, and growth initiatives.

Develop reporting by channel, customer, location, and program.

Maintain clear visibility into cash, liquidity, working capital, and financial obligations.

Manage banking relationships, debt compliance, covenant reporting, and lender communications.

Support debt and equity financings, including modeling, diligence, investor materials, and transaction execution.

Serve as a primary finance contact for investors, lenders, and other capital partners.

Operational Finance

Partner closely with operations, sales, retail, foodservice, manufacturing, supply chain, and culinary teams.

Connect financial performance to operational drivers such as food cost, labor, yield, waste, production volume, and delivery costs.

Evaluate customer, contract, store, franchise, and program economics.

Identify opportunities to improve gross margin, labor efficiency, profitability, and cash flow.

Team and Systems Leadership

Lead, manage, and develop the finance and accounting team.

Establish clear responsibilities, accountability, and performance expectations.

Remain highly involved in critical deliverables and willing to perform detailed work when needed.

Improve finance processes, reporting tools, ERP usage, data quality, and automation.

Build scalable processes while maintaining a lean and practical finance function.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate is a well-rounded finance executive with strong accounting fundamentals, advanced FP&A capabilities, and experience in a complex, fast-moving operating environment.

The individual must be equally comfortable leading a team, advising executives, and personally working in the details.
